At the end of 2008, CTEEP had 1,300 employees, all hired in accordance with the Consolidated Labor Laws of the State of São Paulo and all covered by collective bargaining agreements. Of these, 980 work in the Operational area and 320 in Administrative positions. The company does not use child labor and includes a clause requiring the same standard in its outsourcing contracts. CTEEP’s relationship with its employees is based on the company’s desire to contribute to the overall development of its professionals, valuing their contribution to the growth of the business. On the basis of this attitude, the actions carried out during 2008 focused on preparing its team to meet the challenges facing the company, strengthening the competencies and skill of its employees.
