In 2008, CTEEP’s information technology activities were directed towards the modernization of processes and increased productivity. The main initiative in this area was the implementation of SAP, a tool which will help to further integrate corporate processes, standardize management software into a single language and lead to gains in synergy with the ISA group, which already uses this tool in its daily operations.

Another important initiative in 2008 was the updating of the IT hardware, which culminated in the replacement of over a thousand computers throughout the company in a period of 90 days. In addition to offering more advanced and up-to-date technological resources for users, this resulted in improved information security, system reliability, parameterization, integration with the ISA group and management of the company’s hardware.
