CTEEP's common and preferred shares (BM&FBovespa: TRPL3 and TRPL4) were priced at R$ 42.69 and R$ 26.92 at the close of 2013, down 1.1% and 18.4% year-over-year respectively. In the same period, Ibovespa and the Electric Energy Index (IEE) decreased by 15.5% and 8.8% respectively. The average daily trading volume of CTEEP's preferred shares was R$ 7.6 million, with an average of 1,074 transactions per day.

CTEEP also has a sponsored Level 1 ADR (American Depositary Receipt) program, backed by common and preferred stock at the ratio of 1 Depositary Share to each share of both types. At the close of 2013, ADRs backed by preferred shares (more liquid) were priced at US$ 19.75.
