Quality Management

In order to be recognized for excellence in the provision of electricity transmission services, CTEEP has a Quality Management System which follows the guidelines of ISO 9001:2000.

In 2008, the company moved forward in the expansion of the system which, since 1998, had included only the real time operations of the Operation Center (ISO 9002:1994). As a result, 100% of the processes in the Operations area have been certified under the norm, completing the standard of excellence in the services provided. In all, the certification includes 38 processes within the scope of Operating the Transmission System.

The mapping of processes in the areas of Maintenance and Works was also commenced during 2008, as a first step in the preparations for ISO 9000:2000 certification in 2009, thereby including the three main areas of activity of the company.
