CTEEP was one of the seven companies with the best share performance in 2008.
With preferred shares listed on the São Paulo Stock Exchange (BOVESPA), CTEEP was the first electricity company in São Paulo to take part in Level 1 of the BOVESPA Corporate Governance program. It is also included in the IBOVESPA, the most important index of average shares prices on the Brazilian stock market, the IGC, for companies with outstanding corporate governance, the IBrX, which measures the return on a portfolio consisting of 100 stocks chosen from among those most traded on the BOVESPA, and the IVBX2, which measures the return on a portfolio consisting of papers issued by companies with the best reputation among investors.
