Volunteer Work

Besides encouraging its employees in good citizenship, CTEEP seeks to consolidate and encourage volunteer work activities in partnership with its team, in order to benefit the communities located near its operations. During 2008, CTEEP employees took part in these initiatives, working spontaneously for social and community causes.

One of these was the Winter Clothing Campaign, which received solid support from employees and their families, resulting in the collection of 334,691 items, including winter clothing, blankets and shoes.

Employees were also involved in the campaign organized by CTEEP to collect material to assist the families left homeless by flooding in the state of Santa Catarina. In all, the campaign collected 2,400 kg of food and cleaning and hygiene products, and 1,100 items of clothing.
