In order to build relationships with its suppliers based on transparency and trust, CTEEP adopts a posture focused on equity of information and clear rules for goods and services purchasing processes. The company maintains the CTEEP Suppliers Program, which aims to develop and manage the supplier relationship through an ongoing process of trust.

One of the initiatives of the program is the Suppliers Evaluation, which aims to identify the social responsibility aspects of these companies. This process was strengthened in 2008, with the aim of consistent adoption of these criteria throughout the CTEEP’s value chain.

Another initiative is the organization of Supplier Meetings, held to build closer relationships with suppliers and strengthen the concept of partnership.

In 2008, of over 6,000 suppliers registered with CTEEP, the company maintained an active relationship with 564 suppliers of materials and 324 of services.
