In order to verify the degree of market competitiveness in terms of remuneration, benefits and incentives, CTEEP implemented a Job Designations and Salaries Plan in 2008. During the year, a number of initiatives were carried out, including interviews with employees, description and evaluation of job designations within the company and a study of salaries of all functions and hierarchical levels. The data and information collected will serve as a tool to support the Human Resources department in its processes of recruitment and selection, training and development, planning and evaluation of competencies, appropriate job designation and definition of a working plan for adjustment of personnel to designated positions.

In 2008, the ratio of the lowest salary paid by the company (R$ 1,214.00) and the national minimum (R$ 415.00) was 2.93 times higher in locations where CTEEP is present (State of São Paulo). GRI EC5

In addition to the compulsory benefits specified in the labor legislation, the company offers its employees a private pension plan, with contributions in addition to those of the employee, representing an important financial support for retirement. It also has a profit sharing plan, with payment linked to achievement of defined goals.
