Contributing to sustainable development and social wellbeing is one of the guidelines that orients CTEEP’s relationship with society. Based on this principle, the company focused on establishing sustainable projects that transmit its corporate identity in the areas of Education, Culture, Sustainable Development, the Environment and Solidarity.

During the year, institutional support was maintained for the following projects, with investments totaling R$ 3.267 million:

Child Citizen Institute
CTEEP is one of the organizations that maintains the Child Citizen Institute, whose activities are focused on assisting the population from low-income families and those at risk, personally or socially. The Institute carries out activities involving over 8,000 children, adolescents and adults in the areas of education, health, culture and nutrition, by means of five socio-educational projects: Preschool Crèche, School Top-Up, Starting Work, Literacy for Young People and Adults, and Our Community.

Energy and Sanitation Foundation
CTEEP supports the activities of the Energy and Sanitation Foundation, an institution that works for the recovery and preservation of the history of the energy sector in the State of São Paulo. The Foundation has a large collection, including book and document archives, objects and equipment of historical value, and education projects for the energy sector, ensuring that the history of energy is made available to society at large.

Urban Orchard Project
CTEEP is one of 23 partner companies involved in a project, under the coordination of the São Paulo State Department of the Environment, which encourages the environmental repair of the area around the Pinheiros River in São Paulo.

Support for Cultural Projects
CTEEP sponsors cultural activities through the Rouanet Law, which provides for the application of corporate income tax to cultural projects. The sponsorship policy seeks to broaden the company’s social visibility through cultural initiatives that contribute to the development of society and the communities where CTEEP operates. The company’s investments are seen in its support for projects such as exhibitions, books, and musical and theatrical presentations, aimed at CTEEP’s stakeholders.
